Recepcija antičkih retoričkih i filozofskih termina u srpskom jeziku
The reception of the classical rhetorical and philosophical terms in Serbian language
Abstract
U radu se istražuju pojedini retorički i filozofski termini, posmatrani u okviru osnovnog trijadičkog koncepta: govornik, recipijent i znak (termin pojam, etc). Na određenim primerima će biti prikazano na koji način se dolazi do pravilnog razumevanja i interpretacije pojedinih filozofskih i retoričkih termina, imajući, pritom, u vidu njihovu etimologiju, semantičko obeležje, kao i ulogu prevodioca kao posrednika između govornika i recipijenta.
In this paper author discusses the etymology, as well as the possibility of adequate translation of certain philosophical and rhetorical terms. The main intention of this paper is to resolve some problems of their precise translation from Greek into Serbian and some other modern languages. The author tries to present the way in which the contrastive analysis of certain terms and also deeply knowledge of the background of the classical text can be used in the process of better understanding the meaning of the philosophical and rhetorical terminology. The main problem of translator is how to make the connection between the speaker, the recipient and the term which are the basic elements of conversation. It can be said that the forth element of this triad could be translator, whose task will be to create precise interpretation of the text, which includes his broad knowledge of the etymology, the contest and the circumstances in which one philosophical or rhetorical term have been used in ...original. So we can conclude that the philosophical or rhetorical terms of the Greek origin could be translated in a great number into other languages due to a hard and diligent work of his translator.
