'Смрт св. Нарциса' у Пустој земљи Т. С. Елиота
'The Death of Saint Narcissus' in The Waste Land of T. S. Eliot
Апстракт
Svrha ovog članka je istraživanje spoja i prožimanja tema i pojmova dekonstrukcije u Eliotovoj prozi i poeziji, poimenice pesmi 'Smrt sv. Narcisa' i njenim odnosom i statusom u 'Pustoj zemlji' i Eliotovom poetskom složenom sistemu u celini.
The purpose of this article is the research of the juncture and permeation of topics and ideas of theory of deconstruction with Eliot's poetry, namely 'The Death of Saint Narcissus' and the relation and status of 'Narcissus' in 'The Waste Land' and Eliot's Ventire poetic complex system. In a poetic way, through the shape and subject of transformation, Eliot touched, reshaped and in a characteristic way expressed the topic and idea of identity and self-identity, knowledge and self-knowledge. In this movement, he established a new way of perceiving the idea and meaning of boundary, as a living borderline which at the same time establishes and deletes boundaries and separations. This différance is full of corridors that cannot be passed through and in which, like in a hymen, that which is constituted and that which constitutes exist simultaneously. In différance, in movement, in this lively, dynamic, complex poetical system, in the lacunas of signification, there are traces that shine thr...ough the lines of his early poetry, 'The Waste Land', the 'Quartets', drama, but also in his critical essays and prose. In his usage and conception of all these, and many other ideas, Eliot is in a way the predecessor of Derrida. His work cannot be reduced to source and origin, and it is impossible to unify or represent it with a pattern or a scheme.
